While at Young & Rubicam in New York, we created a few :60 TV spots to help put a human face on an organization too often perceived as being expensive, inefficient and unfriendly. Hopefully we helped move the needle a little bit.

El Pollo Loco – pool

To differentiate this Southern California restaurant chain in a crowded market, I thought a fun Hispanic comedian might fit this fun Hispanic food. Paul Rodriguez became our spokesman on TV and radio. El Pollo Loco enjoyed a unique, memorable identity for years – and we had a good time poking fun at the local competitors.
